Left-handed players usually get a thin choice of starter guitars. Not here. The 112J carries an alder body and a bolt-on maple neck with a 25.5-inch (648 mm) scale, a rosewood or walnut fingerboard and 22 medium frets on a 13.75-inch (350 mm) radius. The neck measures 41 mm at the nut and 20.9 mm deep at the first fret, a slim, quick shape that suits smaller hands and long practice sessions alike.

Humbucker at the bridge, single coils up front

A ceramic humbucker sits at the bridge with ceramic single coils in the neck and middle positions, and a 5-position lever switch moves between them. Flick to the bridge for thick rock and punk rhythm, drop to the neck single coil for clean, glassy chords, and use the in-between positions for funk and indie chime. Two knobs, master volume and master tone, handle the rest, so there is nothing confusing to learn.

Vintage-style tremolo and covered tuners

The vintage-style tremolo bridge gives you gentle vibrato and dive effects, with 10.5 mm string spacing that keeps picking accurate across all six strings. Covered tuning machines keep the gears clean and holding pitch, and the guitar ships with a light 0.009 to 0.042 string set that is easy on fresh fingertips. A one-ply white pickguard and a urea nut round out the spec.
