The Taylor 322ce is what happens when a company known for chime builds a guitar around warmth. A solid mahogany top in shaded edgeburst sits over solid neo-tropical mahogany back and sides, V-Class bracing organises the response, and the compact Grand Concert body keeps everything focused and controlled. All-mahogany, all intention
Hardwood tops respond differently to spruce: the attack is rounder, the midrange is thicker, and notes bloom a beat later with a dry, woody character that flatters fingerpicking and old-school songcraft. With mahogany on the back and sides as well, the 322ce speaks with one voice top to bottom — focused, punchy and free of glare, wrapped in a shaded edgeburst that darkens to near-black at the edges.
V-Class bracing underneath
Taylor's V-Class architecture stiffens the top along the strings' axis while leaving it free to move across it — more volume, longer sustain, and noticeably sweeter intonation as you play up the neck. On a small body it is transformative: the Grand Concert stops trading projection for comfort.

The Grand Concert is Taylor's most intimate full-size shape, comfortable seated or standing, with a 24-7/8" scale that eases string tension for effortless fretting and expressive bends. The 1-3/4" nut opens up string spacing for clean fingerpicking, and the West African ebony fretboard runs matte-smooth under the hand.
Details that earn the 300-series badge
This is Taylor's solid-wood tier, and it shows: faux pearl Gemstone inlays on a black-bound ebony board, a matching Gemstone motif on the paddle headstock, black Tusq nut over a Micarta saddle, ebony bridge and pins, satin black Taylor tuners and a firestripe pickguard riding the burst. Black binding with a crisp white purfling line frames the whole instrument.
Cutaway, ES2 and the case in the boot
The Venetian cutaway opens the upper frets for melodic work, while Expression System 2 — three sensors behind the saddle reading the top's real movement — delivers a warm, natural amplified voice with volume and EQ dials on the upper shoulder. D'Addario XS coated phosphor bronze strings come fitted, and Taylor's plush-lined hardshell case is included.
