Yamaha APXT2EW 3/4 Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Exotic Wood Light Amber Burst

The Yamaha APXT2EW takes the stage-proven APX shape and shrinks it to three-quarter size, then dresses it in a figured mango veneer top under a Light Amber Burst. It is a travel guitar, a first guitar for a younger player and a couch guitar for anyone who already owns a full-size APX, and it plugs in like the big one.

A real APX, three-quarters the size

At 866 mm end to end with a 300 mm wide body, the APXT2EW fits an overhead locker or a school bag. The cutaway body, the 43 mm nut and the rosewood fingerboard are straight off its bigger sibling, so a player moving up to a full-size APX later will not have to relearn anything.

Plug in anywhere

Yamaha's SYSTEM68TR pickup and preamp give you volume and tone controls plus a built-in tuner, feeding a standard line out. Busking, a school concert or a campfire with a battery amp: it all works.

The mango veneer top shows real figure through the Light Amber Burst gloss finish, set off by cream and black binding. Covered chrome tuners keep it in tune, and a gig bag is included so it travels from day one.
