Yamaha LL6 ARE Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Natural is the L Series round-shoulder dreadnought with a solid Engelmann spruce top treated with A.R.E., over rosewood back and sides. It's for the player who wants one acoustic that records, gigs and sits in the lounge room, with a pickup you can't see from the front row. Natural gloss finish, cream and black binding, abalone around the soundhole.

Solid Engelmann spruce top with A.R.E.

A.R.E. is Yamaha's wood treatment that pre-ages the solid Engelmann spruce top, so it responds like a guitar that's been played for years rather than one that just left the factory. Rosewood back and sides give it low-end weight and clear highs. The body is 415mm across and 100 to 125mm deep.

Round-shoulder dreadnought, 650mm scale

The round-shoulder shape keeps the dreadnought's volume but softens the upper bout so it sits more comfortably on the knee. Scale is 650mm, body length 513mm, total length 1046mm. The 44mm nut and 11mm string spacing give fingerstyle players room to work.

Five-ply mahogany and rosewood neck

The neck is a five-piece mahogany and rosewood laminate, built that way for stiffness and stability through Queensland humidity swings. Matt finish, rosewood fingerboard on an R400mm radius, rosewood bridge with black ABS white-dot pins. Die-cast gold TM29G tuners.

SRT piezo pickup, nothing on the outside

The SRT piezo is passive with no controls and no preamp panel cut into the side, so the guitar looks like a pure acoustic. Plug the line out into an acoustic amp, a DI or a preamp pedal and you're gigging. Ships with Elixir NANOWEB 80/20 Bronze light strings.
