Yamaha Pacifica PAC012 Electric Guitar - Dark Blue Metallic

The Yamaha Pacifica PAC012 is the first electric guitar we recommend more than any other, because it plays well, stays in tune and covers most styles on one switch. An alder body with a bolt-on maple neck, a humbucker and two single coils, and a Dark Blue Metallic finish. It costs less than most beginners expect and lasts well past the beginner stage.

Alder body, bolt-on maple neck, 22 frets

The contoured alder body carries a bolt-on maple neck at a 648mm (25-1/2 inch) scale, with a rosewood or walnut fingerboard, a 350mm radius and 22 medium frets. The urea nut is 41mm wide and the neck is 20.9mm deep at the first fret, a slim, easy shape for learning chords.

Humbucker, two single coils, five-way switch

A ceramic humbucker in the bridge and ceramic single coils in the middle and neck run through a 5-position lever switch, with a master volume and master tone. The vintage-style tremolo has 10.5mm string spacing, the tuners are covered, and it comes strung with a light 0.009 to 0.042 set behind a 1-ply white pickguard.
