The Cole Clark Studio AN range offers all-solid-timber Grand Auditorium guitars with a cutaway and a pickup system for amplified playing. It gives players another option to consider when stepping up to a solid-wood acoustic.
Where Studio AN guitars are made
Cole Clark is an Australian company. Its Studio AN guitars are produced across Australia and China: timbers are prepared in Melbourne, assembly takes place with its partner in China, and the instruments return to Melbourne for final setup and quality control.
Six timber combinations to compare

These models use solid tops, backs and sides, with a Cole Clark PG3-family pickup system incorporating a strip piezo. Pickup and hardware specifications can vary by production version, so check the exact instrument before buying.
Choosing your guitar
Compare the neck feel, body comfort and sound both unplugged and through an acoustic amplifier or PA. If you use percussive body tapping, note that Cole Clark marks the RDM, MMAH and SMAH models as unsuitable for percussive playing.
