Overview & specifications
The BOSS CS-3 has been a favourite of studio pros for years, thanks to its fluid tones that smooth out playing dynamics by compressing loud signals and boosting quiet signals. It’s especially effective for enhancing Nashville-inspired smooth chicken picking guitar chops.
The CS-3 Compression Sustainer is notable for having a cleaner tone with less high-end loss when compared to other vintage style compressor pedals, thanks to its low noise circuit design and functional tone control.
