About this product
Overview & specifications
The Ibanez GRGR221FA-TDK pairs a reverse headstock with a dark Transparent Indigo Black finish and Flamed Maple Art Grain top. This six-string GIO electric has a roasted maple neck, a bound purpleheart fretboard and two IBZ-6 humbuckers, with a fixed F106 bridge keeping the hardware straightforward.
24 frets and a roasted maple neck
The GRG neck measures 19.5mm deep at the first fret and 21.5mm at the twelfth, with a 43mm nut and a full 648mm / 25.5-inch scale. A 400mm fretboard radius, 24 medium frets and reversed black sharktooth inlays complete the playing surface.
Two humbuckers, five-way switching
Passive ceramic IBZ-6 humbuckers sit at the neck and bridge. A five-way selector, master volume and master tone give you pickup and level controls within easy reach. The F106 fixed bridge allows individual string-height adjustment without a tremolo mechanism.
Art Grain finish and black hardware
The flame pattern is Ibanez Flamed Maple Art Grain on a basswood top, paired with an okoume body. Black hardware and the reversed headstock carry the dark styling through the instrument.
Case and bag options
A case or gig bag is not included. Ibanez lists the M300C case and IGB540-BK gig bag as separately sold options.
