Incredible 85/15 Pickups
When you plug in your Custom 24, the 85/15 pickups deliver an impressive and balanced sound. Designed by Paul Reed Smith over three decades, these humbuckers offer powerful highs and lows, ensuring a balanced response across all strings and tonal ranges. Whether you're into rock, jazz, blues, or any other genre, the Custom 24's 85/15 pickups will set you up for sonic success.
Elite Tonewoods
PRS’s Core guitars are known for their use of exceptional tonewoods, and the Custom 24 is no exception. It features a resonant mahogany body topped with a beautifully figured maple top. The set mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard ensure excellent sustain and vibration transfer, providing both aesthetic appeal and superior tone.
Pattern Thin Neck Profile
The Custom 24's set-in mahogany neck is carved into the popular Pattern Thin profile, offering a modern take on the traditional Wide Thin neck. This profile has a comfortable nut width that fits perfectly in your hand when playing the lower frets, while maintaining consistency in depth up the neck. This design ensures smooth and consistent playability from the first fret to the 12th.
