The PRS SE Custom 24 Left-Handed in Black Gold Sunburst gives left-handed players the full SE Custom 24, the guitar that best captures the original PRS double-cut, built properly mirror-image rather than as an afterthought. The flame maple veneer glows amber-gold in the centre and burns out to black at the edges, with cream pickup rings and tuner buttons to set it off.
The PRS double-cut, for lefties
Everything that defines the Custom 24 is here: a mahogany back with a carved maple top, a set Wide Thin maple neck, 24 frets on a 10" radius rosewood board with bird inlays, and a 25" scale that keeps bends slinky. The deep cutaways give easy access right up to the top fret.
85/15 "S" pickups
The 85/15 "S" humbuckers have an open, clear voice with a tight low end and plenty of definition, so chords stay articulate even with gain. Pull up the tone knob and both pickups split for brighter single-coil sounds, which turns one guitar into two.
Tremolo and controls
PRS's patented tremolo handles gentle vibrato and deeper dips with good return to pitch. The controls are a volume, the push/pull tone control and a three-way blade switch, all laid out for a left-handed player.
