This is the case Taylor builds for its own Grand Auditorium guitars — the same deluxe hardshell that ships with the company's premium GA models, in textured dark brown vinyl with brass-plated hardware. If your Taylor deserves better than a gig bag, this is the factory answer.
Shaped to the guitar, not around it
The 3-ply wooden shell is moulded specifically to the Grand Auditorium body, so the guitar sits snug rather than swimming. Double neck cradles support the neck at two points, and the body contours hold the instrument still through car boots, flight cases and band-room stacks.
Plush inside, serious outside
Inside, deep red crushed velvet over foam padding keeps the finish untouched. Outside, the textured vinyl wrap shrugs off scuffs, brass-plated latches lock the lid down tight, and a padded handle plus bottom and side feet make it as practical to live with as it is protective.
Room for the extras
An interior accessories compartment swallows string packets, a capo, picks and a lead, so the whole kit travels in one hand. Fits Taylor Grand Auditorium body-shape guitars.
