At the heart of the Sterling is a 9-volt active 3-band EQ preamp — treble, mid, and bass — giving you surgical control over your tone without ever leaving your instrument. The 3-position pickup selector switch lets you cycle between coil configurations on the fly, while the ceramic humbucker with hum-cancelling phantom coil keeps noise out of the equation whether you're in the studio or on stage.
