A long-tenon mahogany neck with the fast, comfortable 1961 Authentic Thin D profile meets a bound dark rosewood fretboard adorned with aged split parallelogram inlays—and a historically quirky twist: a single parallelogram at the 12th fret, just like the film’s hero guitar. A matched pair of un-potted Gibson Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico 3 magnets deliver airy, vintage-correct clarity that blooms with touch dynamics. Add the 6-position mono Varitone for instant, studio-grade tonal sculpting across blues, rock ’n’ roll, soul, and modern indie textures.

Visually, the Light Aged Cherry Red nitrocellulose lacquer finish, aged gold hardware, and Bigsby® B7 vibrato ooze mid-century cool. From the ABR-1 no-wire bridge and black top-hat knobs with gold reflectors to the period-correct M69 rings and short 5-ply ES pickguard, every detail has been thoughtfully reverse-engineered. Rounding out the tribute are the Hill Valley Music dealer plaque on the headstock rear and a Lifton™ hardshell case dressed in Marvin Berry & The Starlighters graphics—plus a treasure trove of themed case candy for display or safe keeping.
