This unique instrument features a modernized Concert body shape, drawing inspiration from vintage 1940s guitars. Perfectly sized between our Mini and OM models, this smaller full-size guitar (00-000) excels at blues, country, folk, and fingerstyle playing.
Josh's signature model boasts a deeper body, measuring 120mm (4.73inch) at the lower bout, and a minimalist top with no rosette, allowing the gorgeous Queensland Blue Fig grain to take center stage. The head showcases a book-matched cap of feature grade Tasmanian blackwood, complete with brass (gold) tuning machines chosen by Josh to pay homage to his plumbing trade. The distinctive fretboard inlay replicates Josh's arm tattoo, crafted from Victorian Ash found near his home, symbolizing the Yarra river and the location of the Half Mile Harvest studio.
This guitar's impressive specs include a solid Queensland Blue Fig top, solid Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides, and a Queensland Maple Silkwood neck. The Johnstone River Teak fretboard features 20 frets and the signature Josh Teskey arm tattoo inlay of the Yarra River (in Victorian Ash). A 25.5-inch scale, 44mm wide Graphtech nut, and Johnstone River Teak bridge with Graphtech white/black dot bridge pins ensure optimal playability. Equipped with Pratley Gold 16:1 Ratio tuners (made by Gotoh Japan), an L.R. Baggs Stagepro Element pre-amp/pickup/tuner, and strung with Elixir Phosphor Bronze 12-53 with Nanoweb, this guitar is ready to make its mark on stages worldwide.
