The Pratley SL Dreadnought-1e is constructed with a Stage Model body (L510mm/W400mm/D120) and features Queensland Silky Oak for the back and sides, accompanied by a Solid Queensland Bunya top. The fretboard and bridge are made of Johnstone River Teak, while the neck is crafted from Vic Ash. A Spotted Gum head face and 8-piece Solid Queensland Maple rosette add a touch of elegance to the design.
With a 25.5" (647.7mm) scale length, 44mm nut width, and 11mm bridge string spacing, this guitar is designed for comfortable playing. The modified Pratley AX bracing is made from quarter-sawn Bunya, enhancing the guitar's resonance. Graphtech nut, saddle, and pins, along with a 14th fret neck joint to the body, ensure a solid and reliable construction.
The SL Dreadnought-1e is equipped with chrome tuners featuring a 20:1 ratio, Korean made for precision tuning, and chrome strap buttons. This model has no cutaway or binding, but it does include 1/4" acrylic dot inlays. The Fishman Presys II Pre-amp/Pickup system allows for amplification, while Elixir Phosphor Bronze 12-53 strings ensure a vibrant sound.
