The PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo delivers the airy resonance of a true hollowbody alongside the punch and control of a solid-body electric, giving you instant access to convincing acoustic textures and classic PRS humbucker power. Built with a maple top and back (with figured maple veneer) over mahogany sides, this model speaks with clear, balanced authority—sparkling highs, present mids, and supportive lows that sit beautifully in a mix.
The magnetic side is handled by PRS 58/15 LT “S” humbuckers—low-turn coils that capture vintage warmth, note separation, and a sweet top end. For acoustic realism, the LR Baggs/PRS piezo system integrates seamlessly via the PRS Adjustable ‘Piezo’ Stoptail bridge, featuring six individually piezo-equipped saddles. Run one cable from the Mix/Piezo jack and blend magnetic and piezo volumes on the guitar, or split the two discrete outputs so your humbuckers hit an electric amp while the piezo feeds an acoustic amp or DI to the desk. Gigging safeguard: use the magnetic jack alone and the piezo battery is bypassed, so your show never stops.
Playability is unmistakably PRS. A comfortable Wide Fat mahogany neck pairs with a 25" scale, 22 frets, and a silky ebony fingerboard adorned with Birds inlays. A bone nut and lightweight PRS-designed tuners lock in intonation and tuning without adding unnecessary mass. Finished in Peacock Blue Smokeburst, the figuring and carve pop under lights—equally at home on stage, in the studio, or on your wall between sessions.
