Cordoba 24T-CE Tenor Ukulele with Pickup - Spruce/Spalted Maple

The Cordoba 24T-CE is a tenor ukulele that looks as good as it sounds. A solid spruce top sits over spalted maple back and sides, each one with its own dark, marbled lines, and deep red padauk binding and rosette frame the lot. Add a cutaway and an active pickup and it's ready for the stage.

Spruce and spalted maple

Solid spruce gives the 24T-CE a clear, punchy voice that projects well beyond its size, so strummed chords ring out and fingerpicked melodies stay defined. Spalted maple is maple marked by natural patterns in the wood, so no two 24 series ukes look quite the same, and the padauk trim and spalted maple headstock tie it all together.

Plug in

Cordoba's active ukulele pickup has volume, bass and treble controls on the upper side, so you can shape the sound for a PA or acoustic amp without reaching for a pedal. The soft cutaway opens up the upper frets on the mahogany neck, and a bone nut and compensated saddle help it stay in tune up the neck.

Built to last

The mahogany neck has a comfortable C shape and rosewood fretboard with pearloid dots, and vintage-style open-gear tuners with black buttons hold their pitch well once the strings have settled in.

Comfortable tenor size

The tenor body has a little more room on the fretboard than a concert, which makes it a favourite with guitarists and with players who want a fuller sound. It ships strung with Aquila New Nylgut strings in standard G-C-E-A tuning and has a satin finish that feels natural in the hand. A gig bag is not included.
