Red Series guitars combine many years of know-how and state-of-the-art technology. In their production, we use premium, master grade materials, which, with the help of precise production procedures and maximum attention to detail, we transform into beautiful-sounding instruments with a clear and balanced sound. We achieve excellent sound quality using our proprietary voicing process of the top and back plates and our unique Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which improves the overall resonance of the guitars and simultaneously accentuates the grain of the exclusive wood. The overall look of the Red Series is underscored by a wide range of attractive decorative elements, led by an annular rosette and body, fingerboard and headstock binding made of precious koa. The Red Deluxe models also include the unique Bevel Duo feature, which significantly increases comfort during extended play. Protection of each premium Red Series instrument is ensured by a high-quality, thermally insulated Hiscox case.
The Furch Grand Auditorium features a modern guitar body shape that is designed for a multitude of playing styles, including fingerpicking. Its most important qualities are great playability and an exceptionally balanced sound. Grand Auditorium guitars provide players with excellent ergonomics while retaining a strong acoustic volume.
Sound is the most important consideration for Furch guitars. Their excellent acoustic qualities are the result of state-of-the art technologies, proprietary production processes and precision craftsmanship combined with the use of the best available tonewoods. The Red SR is no fluke. Hear its exceptional sound quality for yourself with Tonepedia’s app. You can compare its unique sound with other Furch models and also guitars from other manufacturers.
The premium nature of the Red SR is underscored by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, our proprietary technology that enhances the guitar’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Red SR has a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.
The guitar is protected by our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which has been developed to enhance the guitar’s tonal qualities. The finish consists of an ultrathin layer of highly resistant lacquer that provides excellent surface protection and accentuates the structure of the wood at the same time.
A high precision, dual-action truss rod maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup.
The stunning appearance of the Red SR is underscored by a figured ziricote bridge, fingerboard, and headstock overlay. The body, fingerboard, and headstock feature koa binding with a white contrasting line. Koa was also used on a tail decoration and a premium rosette with abalone inlay.
The guitar is made from master grade tonewoods. The soundboard features Sitka spruce, which lends the guitars beautifully bright and open sound. The back and sides are made from Indian rosewood.
The ebony fingerboard is decorated with gorgeous mother-of-pearl leaf front inlays. A similar pattern is rendered in green abalone on the headstock.
