PRS SE McCarty 594 Electric Guitar - Charcoal

The PRS SE McCarty 594 in Charcoal is the vintage-minded side of the SE range: a 24.594" scale, a chunkier Pattern Vintage neck, nickel-covered humbuckers and a four-knob, two-piece-bridge layout that feels instantly familiar to anyone raised on classic single-cuts. The Charcoal flame maple veneer is understated grey-black with plenty of figure showing through.

That in-between scale

The 594 is named for its scale length, which sits just under 25" and between the two classic electric standards. It keeps strings slinky enough for wide bends while staying tight and focused under the pick. Paired with 22 jumbo frets and a 10" radius rosewood board, it is an easy guitar to play hard.

58/15 LT "S" humbuckers

The 58/15 LT "S" pickups chase the warm, woody character of late-fifties humbuckers, with a slightly lower output that lets the guitar breathe and cleans up nicely when you roll back the volume. Both tone knobs are push/pull, so each pickup can be split on its own for brighter single-coil sounds.

Vintage controls and hardware

You get separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, with the three-way toggle up on the upper bout where vintage players expect it. The two-piece bridge, made from zinc and brass, gives four solid contact points with the body for good sustain, and the bound mahogany set neck adds a classy finishing touch.
