The 3-ply wooden shell is moulded specifically to the Grand Auditorium body, so the guitar sits snug rather than swimming. Double neck cradles support the neck at two points, and the body contours hold the instrument still through car boots, flight cases and band-room stacks.
Inside, deep red crushed velvet over foam padding keeps the finish untouched. Outside, the textured vinyl wrap shrugs off scuffs, brass-plated latches lock the lid down tight, and a padded handle plus bottom and side feet make it as practical to live with as it is protective.
An interior accessories compartment swallows string packets, a capo, picks and a lead, so the whole kit travels in one hand. Fits Taylor Grand Auditorium body-shape guitars.
