The rosewood or walnut fingerboard carries 22 medium frets over a 13.75-inch (350 mm) radius, flat enough for bends without choking and rounded enough for comfortable chords.

Three pickups and a five-way switch

A ceramic humbucker at the bridge handles the heavy work, with two ceramic single coils in the neck and middle spots for cleaner, brighter sounds. The 5-position lever switch selects any one of them or the blended positions, so you can cover blues, pop, metal and everything between on one guitar. Master volume and master tone controls keep the layout simple.

The neck is 41 mm wide at the nut and 51.4 mm at the 12th fret, and just 20.9 mm deep at the first fret, growing to 22.9 mm at the 12th. Light 0.009 to 0.042 strings, a urea nut and 10.5 mm string spacing at the bridge keep fretting and picking easy.
