A neck that feels familiar

A traditional classical has a wide, flat fretboard that can feel like a plank to a steel-string player. The Fusion neck is narrower at the nut and the fretboard has a gentle curve, so chord shapes, barres and thumb-over grips all feel natural. It's the easiest way to get nylon-string sound under your fingers without relearning how to hold a guitar.

Why the 12 matters

The 12 in the name is the number of frets clear of the body. Joining the neck at the 12th fret puts the bridge further back on the top, nearer the middle of the lower bout where the soundboard moves most freely. That gives the Fusion 12 a fuller, warmer voice and a long, sweet sustain, with cedar's quick response on top.

Plug in and play

The Fishman Presys preamp gives you an onboard EQ for dialling in the sound through a PA or amp, and the cutaway opens up the upper frets for lead lines. A two-way truss rod keeps the neck where it should be.

Dressed for the stage

A hand-inlaid wooden rosette, maple and ebony purfling around the top and a high-gloss finish make it as good to look at as it is to play, and the natural cedar will mellow and darken a little with age.
