The PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin in Vintage Cherry is the most affordable way into PRS's bolt-on CE line: an all-mahogany body, a bolt-on maple neck and a pair of 85/15 "S" humbuckers, all under a thin satin finish that lets the wood breathe. Vintage Cherry is a classic deep red with the mahogany grain showing through.

Bolt-on CE heritage

PRS introduced the CE back in 1988 to give players the snap and immediacy of a bolt-on neck with PRS's double-cut shape. This Standard version keeps the formula simple, with a solid mahogany body and no maple cap, so it is warm and resonant with a bit of extra attack from the bolt-on joint.

Satin feel

The thin satin body finish feels natural and organic, and the maple neck has a smooth semi-gloss finish that doesn't get sticky. The Wide Thin carve, 24 frets on a 10" radius rosewood board and a 25" scale give it the easy, fast feel PRS is known for.

85/15 "S" pickups with coil split

The uncovered 85/15 "S" humbuckers are clear and balanced, with an extended high and low end that suits modern rock as well as clean work. Pull up the tone control to split both humbuckers for lighter, brighter sounds, and use the three-way toggle to move between them. The PRS patented tremolo rounds out a properly versatile guitar.
