Taylor's Legacy Collection honours the builds and milestones that shaped the company, and the 914ce is its tribute to the Grand Auditorium that defined the 900 Series for years. For a long stretch, rosewood-and-spruce 900s were the benchmark players reached for when they wanted a do-it-all acoustic with a touch of luxury. This model brings that character back with a few thoughtful updates, so it feels every bit as special on a modern stage as the originals did.

Indian rosewood and Engelmann spruce

The tonewood combination is the heart of this guitar. Cindy inlays, gold hardware and a full gloss finish

The appointments are pure 900 Series. Green abalone rings the soundhole and traces the top, Indian rosewood binding frames the body, fingerboard and peghead, and a gloss finish gives the whole guitar depth and shine. The showpiece is the Cindy inlay — the elegant fingerboard and headstock motif named after Bob Taylor's wife — set in ebony and rendered in abalone and pearl.
