The Yamaha DTX402K Electronic Drum Kit is the kit for a new drummer who needs to practise without the neighbours knowing. It puts a quiet, compact five-piece layout on a small-footprint rack, with ten built-in kits in the module and a free app that turns practice into something you actually want to do. It comes in the standard black electronic drum kit finish.
The bass drum pedal has no beater and no pad to strike, so there is nothing thumping through the floor when you play. The hi-hat pedal is silent in the same way, opening and closing the hi-hat sound without a mechanical clack. Between them, the DTX402K keeps late-night practice within the house rather than the street.
The rack is built around a compact footprint, so the kit fits a bedroom corner or a corner of the lounge.
