The Yamaha CSF1M Parlour Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Vintage Natural is the parlour guitar for players who want something small enough to take everywhere but built to a real standard: solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides and a passive SRT piezo for the times you need to plug in. Solid Sitka spruce top on a parlour body

The top is solid Sitka spruce, so the CSF1M responds and opens up like a full-size guitar rather than a travel toy. The body is 450mm long and 85 to 105mm deep, small enough to sit high on the lap or fit an overhead locker, with mahogany back and sides that keep the midrange warm and even. Black and white binding and an abalone and black rosette give it a finished look.

600mm short scale, 43mm nut

The 600mm scale is what makes a compact guitar playable rather than cramped. It drops string tension so chords and bends need less effort, and the frets sit closer together for smaller hands. The 43mm nut and 11mm string spacing are full-size, so nothing about your technique changes when you pick it up.

Passive SRT piezo pickup

A passive SRT piezo sits under the saddle with a line out and no preamp cut into the side, so the guitar looks and weighs like a plain acoustic until you plug in. Run it into a DI or an outboard preamp for EQ and you have a stage-ready parlour. It comes strung with Elixir Nanoweb 80/20 bronze lights.

Nato neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge

The nato neck carries a rosewood fingerboard with a 400mm radius, and the rosewood bridge holds a urea saddle with black ABS pins. Die-cast chrome tuners keep it in pitch, and the gloss body finish matches the rest of the Vintage Natural A Series look.
