Yamaha Stage Custom Birch Euro Drum Kit with HW780 Hardware - Raven Black

The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch is the kit that has taught, gigged and recorded more drummers than almost anything else in its class. This Euro-size bundle pairs the five-piece birch shell pack in Raven Black with a full HW780 700-series hardware pack, so all you add is cymbals and a throne. The cymbals shown in the photo are not included; they are sold separately.

One hundred per cent birch shells

Six-ply, 7.2 mm birch shells give the Stage Custom the quick attack, short decay and clean note separation that Yamaha birch drums are known for: they sit in a mix without eating the guitars. A 45-degree bearing edge keeps the tuning range wide, and the hand-lacquered Raven Black finish shows the grain underneath.

Euro sizes

A 22 by 17 inch bass drum with wood hoops, 10 by 7 and 12 by 8 inch rack toms, a 16 by 15 inch floor tom and a matching 14 by 5.5 inch birch snare. It is the rock and pop configuration: enough bass drum for any stage, toms that tune high or low, and a floor tom with real depth.

Pro-level fittings

Absolute lugs with an internal locking mechanism hold tuning through hard playing, and the Y.E.S.S. mounting system keeps the tom holder off the shell so the toms ring freely. Triple-flange steel hoops on the toms and a ball-mount TH945 holder make positioning quick and solid.

HW780 hardware included, cymbals separate

The bundle includes Yamaha's single-braced 700-series hardware: an SS740A snare stand, an HS740A hi-hat stand, two CS755 boom cymbal stands and the FP7210A bass drum pedal. Cymbals are not included. This kit is in stock now: come in and play it.
