The Yamaha YTR-2330S Student Trumpet - Silver is the silver-plated version of Yamaha's most popular beginner Bb trumpet. Same light, easy-blowing design, same student-friendly slide features, finished in silver plate for the player who wants a horn that looks the part on stage.

Built light to help posture

There is no brace on the main tuning slide, which takes weight off the front of the instrument where a beginner feels it most. The two-piece yellow brass bell is drawn to a thickness chosen for quick response rather than heavy projection. A lighter horn is easier to hold correctly, and a student who is comfortable will practise longer.

Monel pistons and updated valve caps

The pistons are Monel alloy, which resists corrosion and keeps the valve action consistent with nothing more than regular oiling. That matters for a student instrument that may not get the care a professional gives theirs. The valve caps were revised on this generation for a tidier feel under the fingers.

Third-valve water key and first-slide saddle

The water key sits on the third valve slide, so condensation can be cleared without pulling anything apart. A thumb saddle on the first valve slide and an adjustable third slide with a black cap let the player pull low D and C-sharp into tune, a habit that is far easier to learn on a horn that makes it possible.
