The Yamaha FS800 Concert Acoustic Guitar - Sand Burst puts a solid spruce top on a compact concert body for players who want a real acoustic without the bulk of a dreadnought. Solid spruce top, 380mm concert body

The top is solid spruce, so it loosens up and gets more responsive with playing instead of staying flat like a laminate. The body is 380mm wide, 497mm long and 90 to 110mm deep, with a narrow waist that sits comfortably on the knee. Nato or okume back and sides, black binding and a tortoise-pattern pickguard finish it.

634mm scale on a matt nato neck

The 634mm scale takes a little tension off the strings compared with a full 650mm dreadnought, which helps beginners and anyone who fingerpicks. The walnut fingerboard has a 400mm radius, a 43mm nut and 10mm string spacing, and die-cast chrome TM29T tuners keep the strings where you left them.
