Yamaha FS820 Concert Acoustic Guitar - Natural is the solid-top concert-body acoustic for players who find a dreadnought too much guitar to wrap an arm around. It gives you a solid spruce top and a 634mm scale in a body that sits close and comfortable, and the Natural gloss finish shows the grain off honestly.

Solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides

The top is solid spruce over mahogany back and sides, with scalloped bracing underneath so the top can move freely while staying rigid where it counts. The body is finished in gloss with cream binding, a black and white soundhole inlay and a tortoise-pattern pickguard.

Concert body, 634mm scale

At 380mm across the lower bout and between 90mm and 110mm deep, the concert body is easier to hold seated than a dreadnought and projects clearly rather than boomy. Body length is 497mm and total length 1021mm, on a 634mm scale that keeps string tension friendly for long practice sessions.

Nato neck, walnut fingerboard

The nato neck carries a matt finish so the hand slides rather than sticks, with a walnut fingerboard at a 400mm radius and a walnut bridge to match. The nut is 43mm wide with 10mm string spacing, and both nut and saddle are urea.

Die-cast tuners and no electronics

TM29T die-cast chrome tuners hold pitch reliably, and the bridge pins are black ABS with a white dot. There is no pickup, preamp or jack fitted, so this is a straight acoustic with nothing cut into the side. It ships with Yamaha FS50BT or D'Addario XT strings.
