Yamaha FSX830C Concert Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Natural is the rosewood-bodied step up in the FSX cutaway range, for players who want more depth and sustain behind a solid spruce top and a preamp they can trust on stage. The Natural gloss finish and abalone rosette give it a touch more polish than the 800-series models.

Solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides

The solid spruce top sits on rosewood back and sides, which add low-end weight and a longer ring to a concert body that is naturally clear and focused. Scalloped bracing keeps the top responsive. The gloss body has cream binding, an abalone soundhole inlay with black and white rings and a tortoise-pattern pickguard.

Concert cutaway, 634mm scale

The body measures 380mm wide, 497mm long and 90mm to 110mm deep, comfortable for a whole set seated or standing. The cutaway gets you to the upper frets cleanly, and the 634mm scale with a 1021mm total length keeps tension easy.

SYSTEM66 preamp with tuner and mid sweep

SYSTEM66 gives volume, 3-band EQ, a built-in tuner and a mid-frequency control, so feedback and boom can be tamed from the guitar itself. The line out runs to any acoustic amp, DI or mixer.

Rosewood fingerboard, TM29T tuners

The nato neck has a matt finish with a rosewood fingerboard at a 400mm radius and a rosewood bridge. The 43mm urea nut carries 10mm string spacing, TM29T die-cast chrome tuners hold pitch, and it ships with Yamaha FS50BT or D'Addario XT strings.
