Yamaha TAG3 C TransAcoustic Dreadnought Cutaway Guitar - Natural Gloss is the all-solid dreadnought cutaway with reverb, chorus, delay and a looper built into the guitar itself, heard from the body with nothing plugged in. It's for the songwriter and the solo performer who wants effects and Bluetooth audio without a pedalboard. Solid Sitka spruce with A.R.E. over solid mahogany, in Natural gloss.

Effects from the guitar, no amp needed

The TransAcoustic SYSTEM76 puts reverb, chorus and delay on dials on the guitar, and you hear them from the guitar's own body as you play unplugged. Turn the reverb up in a dry room and it sounds like you're playing in a hall. Plug the line out into a PA and the same effects go to the desk, with a separate line out volume.

Looper with a tap sensor

The built-in looper lets you lay down a chord progression and play over it, with a tap sensor for controlling the looper from the body of the guitar rather than a footswitch. Bluetooth audio streams a backing track or a lesson from your phone to the guitar. It runs on a lithium-ion battery that charges through a magnetic connection.

All-solid spruce and mahogany

The top is solid Sitka spruce with A.R.E., Yamaha's treatment that gives new wood the response of an aged top. Back and sides are solid mahogany. The dreadnought cutaway body is 412mm wide, 100 to 125mm deep and 505mm long, 1039mm overall, with black binding.

Mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge

A mahogany neck with a matte finish carries an ebony fingerboard on an R400mm radius and an ebony bridge with black ABS pins. Scale is 650mm, the nut 44mm with 11mm string spacing, so fingerstyle parts have room. Open-gear champagne-gold tuners, a blue ripple soundhole inlay and a transparent pickguard set it apart on stage.
